How To Have A Wife Mount And

Evidence of Chloe, DMA student at the Ecole Estienne illustration

1. What are you doing in your division, practice?

"... the artwork! Um, well, more seriously, it's really 90% drawing hardcore in DMA illustration, the rest c ' is a little computer, the layout and a bit of typography . There are always general subjects course: French, English, economics and management, history of art, and in first year there history of writing and semiotics (to learn how to analyze an image, understanding symbols, signs ...)

There are two workshops illustration with different aims:
- illustration (short), which is more general and covers all aspects of the illustration (illustration news, youth illustration, comics, advertising ...)
- EDUCATIONAL illustration, which includes a more scientific, or at least explanatory (manuals, diagrams, drawings of scientific observation, understanding how the body works has a child, this kind of thing). It was also the artistic expression , freer, in which one makes such courses naked ...
There is also an afternoon designed for the laboratory experiment Graphic eu , said LEG , which includes 4 classes a try for the DMA lithography, the screen, the burning typography and traditional leaded :) "

2. Which prosecution of studies that it does commit you? / How employability?

"This is a training level bac +2, then can stop to work, as after a BTS, but it is advisable to continue his studies ... can be aimed at large schools (Arts Decoratifs, Goblins, Fine Arts ...) or staying in the illustration, either by choosing a slightly different way, like graphics, typography, animation ...
The "direct result" of the DMA, the DSAA. Yet there is no illustration DSAA [nb: there are the scientific and medical illustration DSAA, see here ] , I advise you the versatility, do not stay cloistered in the picture!
side job, we can pose as freelance illustrator , or in a collective any, solicit and businesses with her book under his arm (magazines, advertising, publishers ...). Alternatively, you can sometimes get hired as a graphic designer / illustrator in an advertising agency. "

3. Would you have some visuals (photos, sketches) of your achievements in your field?

"You can go to my blog: http://narukochan.blogspot.com !

4. What do you think about your school?

"For school trips is always" in tears "when there are things to do or events to prepare, there is always the last to know ... more without wanting to spit in the soup , I think the school is based on his reputation, and suddenly made little effort ... some classes of rotten stuff, teachers of general subjects are often unattractive Finally it is not always the party. But fortunately the teachers workshop are there to raise the level! Apart that's a very good atmosphere, the canteen is friendly (thanks to Chef gets off on all that: D), the teachers nice and interesting topics!

5. What qualities are they expected from a future student in your section?

"The most important thing is to have a real personality graph, have an origin
ity, while not remaining frozen in style ... must be employed too, and then keep abreast of everything that is currently in illustration, comics, art contemporary, etc. ... . be open-minded.
Hope this has helped you, good luck to all !
