DSAA = Higher Diploma in Applied Arts
IMS = Illustration Medical and Scientific

Issued in two years by the Ecole Estienne in Paris.

The subjects taught at both the Ecole Estienne and the Faculty of Pitié-Salpétrière:

- English (2h)
- philo (2h)
- French (2h)
- practical work in scientific illustration (8h)
- practical work in teaching (4h)
- general anatomy (2h)
- Neuroanatomy (2h)
- Computer (layout and typography) (3:30)
- IT (multimedia) (1:30)
- drawing Plastic / life drawing (3h)
- drawing Morphological - anatomical study of the living model (with Phlippe Comar, Professor of Fine Arts) (2h)
- literature review - painting / drawing as realistic as possible (3h )
- communication technology (2h)
- Biology (2h)

about 38 hours per week.
Including the lunch break, it's been 45 hours per week spent in school.
